Location Scouting

Our office provides scouting for specific location needs. We break down scripts and prepare customized photo files. A preliminary photo package is usually supplied within 48 hours. We will coordinate your initial scouts and, at your request, will accompany you throughout your itinerary.

Photo Library

We have an extensive library of color photographs of locations throughout the state. In addition to the web based digital library easily accessible from this site, examples can usually be compiled and sent to clients via overnight delivery, or email.

Pre-Production Research

Assistance is provided in finding production services, accommodations, production personnel, talent, information on state laws and regulations, weather and climate data and appropriate introductions to labor representatives.

Government and Community Liaison

We coordinate and facilitate introductions and help solicit cooperation with local, state and federal officials needed to fulfill client requests. We provide similar liaison services as needed with businesses, civic and institutional leaders and neighborhood associations and residents.

Full Service Throughout Production

Members of the Maryland Film Office are on call at all times during a production to address special needs, changes or other requirements that occur during production.
